9th Meeting of ASEM Directors-General of Customs

The 9th EU-ASEM Meeting of Customs Directors General took place in Hua Hin, Thailand, on 11 and 12 October 2011. The Director General of Thai Customs, Mr. Somchai POOLSAVASDI, welcomed delegates representing the 48 partners of EU-ASEM.
The delegates discussed the challenges Customs faces in the 21st Century including the impact of the current economic environment which had the effect of increasing the complexity of carrying out work programmes.
The meeting confirmed the need to make further progress in the following priority areas:

Trade Facilitation and Supply Chain Security;

Combating Infringement on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR);

Protecting the Society and Environment;
-
Involving Business.
The Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Sergio Mujica, represented the WCO and presented an update on current topics of the WCO.
The importance of WCO Instruments and Standards was recognised, noting in particular the WCO SAFE Framework of Standards.

北邊：差庵（หัวหิน，Cha Am，佛丕府）
東邊：泰國灣

南邊：攀武里（ปราณบุรี,Pran Buri，班武里府）
公路：在班武里府境內及佛丕府間有高速公路相連，距曼谷素萬那普機場約2個小時車程。
鐵路系統：為南線鐵路的一部份，自曼谷出發，往南與馬來西亞相連。
客運：從曼谷出發的客運有直達華欣，或經由其它地區到華欣。
雙條（สองแถว,Songthaew，或其它隨招隨停運輸系統）：主要運行於城鎮周圍及其周邊地區，華欣擁有許多雙條車、嘟嘟車、計程車及摩托計程車。
機場：擁有國內線機場，但無固定行航班，僅有私人及非定期性包機起降。
