Consolidation to Taiwan

  1. Consignee of your consolidated  Air Waybills to Taiwan: Due to special local situations, please address your consolidation  to SAIT - Mantraco Ltd., 3rd Floor, 173 Chang An East Road, Section 2, Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. Telephone 02-27736767. In case of destined Kaohsiung consolidation, please address to  Mantraco Ltd., Fl, 9-6, No. 53, Chung Cheng 4th Road, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Republic of China.   1. Forms of payment of your master Air Waybill: We accept your CC MAWB consigned to SAIT - Mantraco Ltd. If they are:
    A.Through our request or our prior confirmation
    B.HWB CC total amounts exceed MAWB CC amounts.
  1. For all consolidation shipments from your stations to Taipei, you are kindly requested to put HAWB labels on each export cartons even for back-to-back consolidation even one HAWB cover one HAWB; According to Custom Regulations, Customs Clearance of consolidation shipment to be made based on HAWB. Otherwise, you shall bear the extra charges of relabeling by yourself.
  1. Commodity name column of MAWB must be typed "Consolidated Cargo as Attached Manifest" and never show actual commodity name even if it is a Back-to Back consolidation  Never forget to attach 10 sheets of House Manifest to the MAWB outside the consoli pouch and 4 sheets inside.
  1. The number shown on HAWB, label and house manifest should always be the same. If there are any discrepancies between or among them, the delivering carrier (ultimately the bulk breaking agent) shall be fined NT $4,500 by customs plus customs charge of NT $2,000, plus Alpha charges (computer re-inputting and re- warehousing) of Air Cargo Terminal (ACT) NT$150 or NT $0.5/K of chargeable weight.
  1. Taipei customs prohibits sub-consoli and refuses to accept various sub-house-manifest even if it has been attached to your own house manifest. You must transfer those data of the said Sub-house-Manifest onto your own house-manifest to treat them as your own consoli cargo and enclose those sub-HWB in another pouch without another sub-MAWB.
  1. According to Taipei customs, Unitized Cargo on skids, e.g. 2 skids of 8 & 6 cartons plus 2 loose cartons shall be remarked in HWB and House-Manifest as follows:
    In the column of number of packages of HWB, please show 4, then add (1 x 8 + 1 x 6 + 2 = 16 ctns) beneath the said 4. As to the Manifest, beneath the PC number "4", please add (16) but leave the total as it was (namely, still count as 4). Since now Taiwan under EDI transfer for cargo manifest for subject case, must remarks on your pre-alert to avoid customs penalty.
  1. Pre-Alert Messages: Very often consignee get information of their shipments beforehand and phone us to check detail, but we are unable tell them what they want to know due to a lack of advanced information. Therefore, please cover the following data in your pre-alert telex message of your consoli to Taipei:

    HWB NR PC *CNEE CC AMOUNT
    (if PP, just type PP)
    * In case of bank shipment, please show "Notify Party" name , not the banker's name, in your HWB.
    * If need Pre-Advise to CNEE, please add his phone number. If HWB destined to KHH, please add KHH

        *Unitized Cargo on skids pre-declare on cargo manifest is requested.

  1. For fastest delivery, please try your best to show CNEE's phone number in your HWB.
  1. Re forwarding Charges of Kaohsiung (KHH) Destined Shipments:
    Bonded truck : NT$5/k with minimum of NT$300.
    Charterage : NT$9,000 for under 1800kgs.
    Transfer documentation & handling : NT$300 per HAWB
    Customs escort : NT$100 per HWB.
  1. The invoice of the accounting statement. Due to computerized accounting systems, most invoices do not show MAWB number, nor the MAWB issuing date, and just lists number of original invoice (usually never been attached to the consoli manifest) and the date of the invoice and due amounts only. Before sending your invoices to Taipei, please fill in each concerned MAWB number (and preferably its issuing date).
  1. In order to promote sales in Taipei, it is imperative to keep the quotations always up-to date. Therefore, we would have your quotations remarking it is "selling rates to consignees" or "your selling cost" or "your buying cost from so-and-so carrier." Please let us know whenever they are no longer effective.
FYI: Carrier in Taipei used to handle straight AWB themselves even our names is shown as notify party there, and contact directly with the consignees without telling us a single word.
