The schedule consolidation offered to the gateway of the United States and major European cities.

There are 3 kinds of closing time on regular consolidation. The SAIT staff should explain the procedure to the shipper as clearly as possible.

1. Closing Time For Pick Up on Consolidation:

This will need 5 working hours before the Flight Manifest closing time since we must give a reasonable amount of time to the truck driver for Pick-Up.

2. Closing Time For Flight Manifest:

This is just about 30 hours before the flight departure. Since we have to consider the transit time between Taipei city and CKS Airport, also the line-up time outside of the cargo terminal at CKS Airport.

3. Closing Time For Customs Clearance:

The regular export customs clearance takes about 4 working hours. If there is not a irregular case, the paper will be released by the customs officer within 4 working hours after we register for clearance. The forwarder must give the release paper to the airline Customer Service Department at CKS Airport at least 6 hours before the flight departure for palletizing. The total time for customs clearance normally takes 12 hours before flight departure.

4. For any direct shipment to CKS Airport by the shipper, you must contact Customer Service for the minimum processing time to avoid delay. Our experiences are that if the shipment arrives at CKS Airport less than 30 hours from the flight departure, it is very dangerous.

5. For any Lager shipment, please contact the Customer Service Department for preparation of HWB labels and MAWB labels. All of these labels must be attached to the export cartons before entering the unloading area at the CKS cargo terminal.

6. In case of delay or failure to meet closing time, we must have authorization beforehand to upgrade service and agreement that the shipper will be responsible for the extra costs. Otherwise, the shipment will have to wait for the next consolidation.

7. If the shipment arrives without export document, the shipment will be in our warehouse until the export document is ready.

8. For the Quota item and Form A shipment, SAIT will not be responsible for delay, in the case that the government authorizes delay to issue the permit.
